How do I join a Choose Ocean beach cleanup?
Fill out the signup form on this page with your name, email, and when you'd like to come out. We'll reach out with the details for the next cleanup. All you have to do is show up with your crew.
Where do the cleanups happen?
Beaches up and down the California coast. Tell us your preferred beach on the signup form and we'll do our best to get you to a cleanup near you.
Do I need any experience or equipment?
No experience needed. Just bring yourself and your crew, and we'll walk you through everything when you arrive.
Can I bring a group, or volunteer with friends?
Absolutely. Choose Ocean is built on choosing your crew. Note your group size on the signup form and we'll plan for the whole team.
What makes Choose Ocean cleanups different?
Our cleanups are post-free days: bags up, phones down. No posting, no content, just good people doing good work by the sea. We're here for the beach and for each other.
